Course outline:

• 2 Days course work
• ½ Day revision
• ½ Day examination

On successful conclusion participants will receive their certificate, which is valid for 2 years.

The course includes:

• Bleeding & Wounds
• Shock – Fractures
• Soft tissue injuries
• Unconsciousness
• Burns
• Poisons
• Medical Emergencies
• Respiration
• Heart Attack
• Adult C.P.R.
• Defibrillator Training

Maximum number per course: 8 participants.

First Aid Responder is a certified course by Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council. Certification expires in two years. A two-day refresher is available; however, the refresher must be sat within one month of the expiry date or else the person will need to resit the three-day course. HSE, HAS, Tusla & HIQA recognise the First Aid Responder Course.
